My experience being an ambassador for ClayStack
I’ll start with things I like in this ambassador program:
- Being in the first batch is definitely worth it! I’ve met a couple of friends and acquaintances who I always see across multiple web-3 projects and found new people to connect with. Good networking is always something I seek for and the guys and girls in the program are amazing
- Clear and welcoming onboarding with ClayStack team members. Ambassador programs are not always prioritized by project teams so you can mostly see only 1 team member during such calls. ClayStack is different
- Early access to testnets — I believe that the product — liquid staking of multiple tokens is something one should expect in interoperable future
- Having content Tuesdays. It’s a fun way to share content updates with either articles or tweetstorms on web-3 news. I just love the content that people share — you can feel like you are on the bleeding edge of the blockchain/crypto development
- Tasks’ range is good, though I still feel that there could be a bit more freedom
- You can always be heard and helped (if you want to)
Disadvantages
- Weekly and overall limits on the task are in one way motivating and in the other way very limiting. For instance, if I am a meme master I can complete only several tasks. The program stimulates ambassadors to try different things, but mostly you need to have a differentiated skillset to not lose your interest.
- The program was not fully created from the moment we were onboarded. It is nice to know that we can make a real impact and co-create the program together with the team. But during several first weeks I was not sure what to do (bc media materials were updated, litepaper in progress, and so on)
Overall, I feel like ClayStack is a place where I am happy to be, mostly thanks to its community!
